The water of the hot springs originates in the Guarani Aquifer, the largest in South America and one of the most important underground water resources on the planet, due to its dimensions, quality, and water temperature.

There are six hot springs centers with diverse entertainment and accommodation alternatives; from camping sites to five-star all-inclusive hotels. These are Arapey, Daymán, Guaviyú, Salto Grande, San Nicanor and Almirón.
